FIT YOUTH TRAINING PROGRAMS

All FIT Youth Training Programs are designed to allow each athlete to develop strength, speed, and movement skills geared toward his or her own ability and sport, thus each individual can methodically advance to become the very best he or she can be.  Sessions of 45 minutes to one hour in length are held indoors at St Francis Sports Medicine, 801 SW Fairlawn Rd.  Sessions include a variety of exercises designed to minimize redundancy and injury risk, and maximize performance improvement while keeping all athletes active and engaged the entire session.  Coach Estes has extensive speed, agility, strength, and conditioning experience; training a variety of amateur and professional athletes, in addition to having served as a local high school track and cross country coach. FIT Youth Training Programs are available for individuals, small groups, and entire teams.

AND AGILITY TRAINING

The FIT SPEED AND AGILITY program is a focused approach to fundamental training emphasizing:

  • Speed

  • Strength

  • Agility

  • Reaction

  • Proper Posture and Form

  • Balance

  • Training Skills applicable for Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Track, Cross Country

 
FIT  YOUTH SPEED
AND AGILITY TRAINING

The FIT SPEED AND AGILITY program will include instruction regarding:

  • Speed - foot, straight-ahead, lateral, and reaction

  • Initial steps explosiveness

  • Fast-twitch muscle development

  • Aerobic conditioning

  • Explosive strength

  • Body balance

  • Injury prevention and avoidance

  • Nutritional guidance

FIT  SOCCER STRENGTH
AND CONDITIONING 

 

  • Incorporates all aspects of the FIT Youth Speed amd Agility Program, emphasizing soccer skills application

  • Reinforces your focus on teamwork,  immediate improvements, AND long-term results

  • Allows you to enjoy camaraderie, support, and healthy competition while training with teammates and other area athletes of comparable age and ability

  • Will challenge you to be your best by means of a systematic and methodical approach

 
FIT  YOUTH OFF-SEASON
JUMP STRENGTH AND
CONDITIONING 

 

  • Incorporates many aspects of the FIT Youth Speed and Agility Program with direct application to skills needed for volleyball, basketball, high jump, pole vault, softball, baseball, hurdles

  • Reinforces your focus on immediate improvements AND long-term results

  • Allows you to enjoy camaraderie, support, and healthy competition while training with teammates and other area athletes of comparable age and ability

  • Will challenge you to be your best by means of a systematic and methodical approach

 
FIT  YOUTH OFF-SEASON
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING 

 

  • Designed to maximize off-season conditioning by allowing you to train at your current level of fitness

  • Unique to you rather than the “one size fits all” approach
